Who "we" are
Land Your Contract ("we," "us") is a small, Texas-based business. We're in the process of formally incorporating; until that's done, this policy covers the site and forms you're using today under the Land Your Contract name. Questions go to us here.
What we collect
When you request a free sample or join a waitlist, we collect:
- Email address — to send your one-time free sample. We won't email you again after that unless you sign up for a paid plan.
- State — so the sample matches your area.
- Certification status (optional — veteran-owned, woman-owned, 8(a), HUBZone, or none) — so we can show you set-asides you actually qualify for.
- Which page you signed up from — tells us which trade or category people are asking about; we never connect this to your identity beyond that count.
- Your IP address, one-way hashed — used only to stop spam/abuse (a rate limit). We never store your raw IP.
That's it. We don't ask for your name, phone number, business details, or payment information at the waitlist/sample stage. When paid plans go live, billing information is entered directly on Stripe's own payment page — it never touches our servers (see "Who we share data with," below).
What we don't do
- We don't sell, rent, or share your email with advertisers or data brokers — ever.
- We don't use ad-tracking pixels or cross-site trackers.
- We don't require a password or account to use the free parts of the site — there's nothing to breach.
- Signing up for a sample never unlocks anything extra silently — free stays free until you actually choose to pay (see Pricing).
How we send your sample
We send your free sample the moment you request it — no confirmation click needed. Each email address only gets one free sample; requesting again with the same address won't trigger a second one. Every email we send carries a one-click unsubscribe link at the bottom.
Who we share data with
We use a small number of service providers to run the site. None of them may use your data for their own purposes:
- Cloudflare — hosts the site, runs the invisible bot-check (Turnstile) on our forms, and provides privacy-preserving, cookieless traffic analytics.
- Resend — sends your sample email and, for paying members, weekly digest and account emails.
- Stripe — will process payments once paid plans launch. Card details go directly to Stripe; we never see or store them (PCI SAQ-A).
Cookies
We don't set marketing or tracking cookies. Cloudflare's traffic-analytics beacon is cookieless by design. Cloudflare Turnstile (our bot-check) may set a short-lived technical cookie solely to verify you're not a bot — it isn't used to track you across sites.
How long we keep data
We keep sign-up records so we can honor them (send your sample, track set-aside preferences) and so our own records stay accurate. Every email we send carries a one-click unsubscribe link — use it any time to stop hearing from us.
Children's privacy
This site is intended for business owners and professionals. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes in a material way, we'll update the date at the top of this page. We won't quietly narrow your rights without notice.
